Today, Keshav Memorial High School stands as a stalwart institution in the field of education, committed to nurturing young minds and pursuing excellence.
The Keshav Memorial Educational Society was established in the year 1940 by PanditVinayakRaoVidyalankar in memory of his father, Sri Justice KeshavRaoKarotkar, who served as a judge of the then Hyderabad High Court and was associated with the freedom movement.
Justice KeshavRaoKarotkar firmly believed that educating the youth was one of the most effective means of achieving freedom and empowering society. In order to fulfill his father's vision and aspirations, PanditVinayakRaoVidyalankar established a middle school. In due course, the institution developed into a high school.
In 1950, the Girls' High School was brought under the Grant-in-Aid Scheme of the State Government, marking another significant milestone in the institution's journey.
Keshav Memorial High School (English Medium) was established in the year 1974. The school is located in Himayat Nagar, in the heart of the city. It functions from its own spacious premises, equipped with well-ventilated classrooms and a playground that provides students with opportunities for both academic and physical development.
